Our Workstreams
COLLABORATION
The main objective of the Collaboration workstream is to examine if a collaborative approach is conducive to Credit Unions in Ireland.
REVOLVING CREDIT
This is a product that will support our Credit Unions product range and address some of the inefficiencies in our lending process and top-up credit in particular.
INTERMEDIATION
Credit Unions enjoy tremendous trust with members, and members wish to access ethical financial services from their Credit Union.
MEMBER ENGAGEMENT/STRATEGIC MARKETING
This workstream explores effective ways for Credit Unions to engage with their members across different age groups, and also looks at the main Strategic Marketing priorities for Credit unions.
SERVICE DELIVERY/OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS
With this workstream we look at how can IT act as an enabler for Credit Unions throughout the country.
BALANCE SHEET AND CAPITAL
This workstream will consider the impact of the ongoing savings growth on CU’s and their Balance Sheet exploring the current funding mechanism for savings, substitute sources of capital for CU’s and the alternative regulatory capital arrangements.
COVID-19
This workstream explores the effect on credit unions of the adverse economic conditions resulting from the COVID-19 Pandemic.
TRANSFER OF ENGAGEMENTS
This paper is the product of a joint initiative between the Credit Union CEO Forum and the Credit Union Development Association (CUDA).
